The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students.  More than just an honor roll, the NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.  These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since their beginnings in 1921.

Today, it is estimated that more than one million students participate in activities of the NHS, with local chapters--like ours at the Caledonia High School--found in all 50 states, US Territories, and Canada.  Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.

Currently, our chapter has limited membership to Seniors who maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5, are recommended by multiple individuals, and are selected through an application process during the spring of their junior year.

If you are a Senior and feel you should have been given an invitation last spring or feel that you should be extended one now, please do not hesitate to contact us to review your request.
If you are a student in all other grades, we hope you will accept our invitation and consider joining us in the future.
