Welcome, you've found my web page!
My name is Austin Stalsberg, I am the 6th and 7th grade math teacher here at Caledonia Middle School. This, the 20-21 school year, will be my first year teaching and I am very grateful to be at a such a wonderful school. If we haven't met yet feel free to contact me (follow the "contact me" link on the left), I am looking forward to getting to know the community.
I am originally from La Crosse and will be living there this school year as well. In La Crosse, I attended Central High School and then continued my education at UW-La Crosse studying both mathematics and computer science. While attending college, I worked on a dairy farm just South of La Crosse milking cows and doing field work.
I have my family to thank for getting me to this point in my life, they have always been the most important thing in my life. I have a younger bother and sister, an older brother and two loving parents. The support they have all provided me has always pushed me to do my best and support others in turn.
I hope to bring a unique perspective of mathematics to the community, given my history with computer science. There are so many ways technology can enhance the development of math skills, especially ones that are applicable in the real world.
