Screening for COVID-19 symptoms at the Caledonia Area Public School District will require all students, employees, contractors, and visitors to self-screen utilizing the MDH self-screening checklist. In most, if not all cases, visitors will not be allowed to enter buildings during the pandemic without prior administrative approval.

MDH requires people to be screened when entering the building. The MDH screening tool will be posted at building entrances to remind people who enter the building the symptoms of COVID-19.

Caledonia Area Public School District will implement the following screening process:

• Parents/Guardians will be asked to go through the MDH screening tool. Individuals with symptoms or exposure should stay home from school and contact their health care provider.

• It will be critical for parents/guardians to diligently check their children for symptoms so we have the best chance of keeping students on site for scenarios 1 and 2.
