LEARNING MODELSIN-PERSON MODEL
Scenario 1: In-person learning for all students. Create as much space as feasible between students and teachers; the district will not be held to strictly enforcing 6 feet of distance between individuals.
Scenario 2: Hybrid model with strict social distancing and capacity limits. Schools must limit the overall number of people in the school facilities and on transportation vehicles to 50% maximum occupancy. Social distance of at least six feet between individuals must occur at all times.
DISTANCE LEARNING MODEL
Scenario 3: Distance Learning Only
Providing Education During a District Closure
If our school district needs to be closed due to the threat of the Coronavirus, the district intends to provide Distance Learning Instruction to students. This will require the full cooperation of students, teachers and parents to make this instruction meaningful. The Distance Learning Plan will be available on our website and will serve as a guide for students, parents, and teachers.
Distance Learning is new to all of us, so we appreciate the patience and willingness of everyone as we travel this path of learning together. The parent component is essential in the Distance Learning model, and there may be times that parents and students will need assistance and reassurance in some instances. Please feel comfortable contacting our teachers. We truly are partners in education.
We understand that students in grades K-3 especially will need their parents to assist them in their learning. For Distance Learning to be effective, parents, teachers, and students must all do their part. Teachers in Kindergarten will be using Seesaw. Grades 1-3 will mainly be using Dojo, while grades 4-12 will primarily be using Schoology for assignments and communication. All grades will be using Zoom.
Our Covid-19 District Learning plan is subject to change as needed.
