All about me.
I am the Elementary Principal of Caledonia Area Public Schools where I enjoy collaborating with staff and students to achieve our educational goals while keeping our school family safe, welcoming, and positive. I graduated from the University of St. Mary's with a Bachelor's degree in English/Language Arts. I received my Master's degree from the University of WI, La Crosse, and my K-12 Principal leadership licensure from Winona State University.
I have taught English/Language Arts in all grades from 6 through 12 at the Caledonia M/H School. In addition to teaching, I also have been the all-school drama director, speech coach, high school and elementary student council advisor, varsity track coach, varsity boys soccer coach and varsity girls soccer coach. I believe that activities outside of the school day provide outlets for keeping oneself healthy and performing at optimal levels.
When I am not at school, you will find me spending time with my family, running on the streets of Caledonia, or "glamping" at the campground in the summer. The river or any body of water is my happy place where I find peace and rejuvenation.
