Qualifications
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred

Schedule and Salary

- Daily hours follow the student day
- Salary range: $16.89 – $20.83 per hour depending upon experience

SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Caledonia Area Elementary School is seeking a full-time, dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. This position supports students with a range of special needs through direct instruction, collaboration, and individualized programming.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specially designed instruction as outlined in student IEPs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
- Develop and maintain compliant and effective IEPs
- Collect data and monitor student progress toward goals
- Implement behavior support strategies as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (ABS, LD, EBD, or similar area)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Experience with due process systems preferred (SpEd Forms)
- Salary range $49,789 – $84,393

FACILITIES SPECIALIST POSITION AVAILABLE
Caledonia Area Public School District #299 is seeking applicants for a full-time Facilities Specialist. This is a year-round position working 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Hourly wage range $17.24 – $21.69, depending on qualifications and experience. Boiler’s license preferred but not required.  Duties include facilities support, building maintenance, and mechanical repairs to help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students and staff.
