CAPS CARE POSITIONS

Caledonia Area Public Schools is looking for a toddler assistant teacher, and an aide for our child care center, CAPS Care. All positions must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment. Discount on child care for CAPS Care staff members. Benefits if working more than 30 hours per week. Benefits include health, life, and long-term disability. 

Assistant Teacher requirements: 

  • Must meet the requirements below OR be willing to work toward required credits.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • High school diploma required, 2,080 hours as an aide or student intern, and 12 quarter hours of Child Development classes.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a childcare setting, preferred.
  • Hourly pay range: $15.03-$18.79 depending on experience.

Aide requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Hourly pay range: $14.37-$17.95 depending on experience.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR POSITION AVAILABLE

HIGH SCHOOL MATH TEACHER POSITION AVAILABLE

CROSSING GUARDS ON HIGHWAY 44/76
Caledonia Area Public Schools is looking for crossing guards located on Highway 44/76. These shifts can be flexible in that you can work the morning, afternoon or both shifts.  Hours will be approximately 7:35 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. for the morning shift and 2:40 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. for the afternoon shift. You will be paid $13.73 for each shift in the morning and afternoon. Applications may be picked up at the District Office or by calling at 507-725-3389.

LICENSED AND SUPPORT STAFF SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Caledonia Area Public School District is looking for licensed teacher substitutes and support staff substitutes to work as special education paraprofessionals and substitutes in the offices, nutrition departments and the facilities departments of the elementary and middle/high school buildings.
