All about me.

I am the Elementary Principal of Caledonia Area Public Schools where I enjoy collaborating with staff and students to achieve our educational goals while keeping our school family safe, welcoming, and positive. I graduated from the University of St. Mary’s with a Bachelor’s degree in English/Language Arts. I received my Master’s degree from the University of WI, La Crosse, and my K-12 Principal leadership licensure from Winona State University.

Our elementary school’s motto for the 22-23 school year is “Here Comes the Sun; Be the Sunshine.”

Having an optimistic, forward-thinking mindset, enables our students and staff to approach our learning and interactions with others in a positive “light.” When you walk into our school, you should feel the sunshine in our hallways, no matter what the weather may be like outside.
When I am not at school, you will find me spending time with my family, running on the streets of Caledonia, or “glamping” at my camper by the river in the summer. The river or any body of water is my happy place where I find peace and rejuvenation.
