Welcome to Mrs. Pohlman’s Class page!

Hello students and families! 

My name is Mrs. Pohlman and I teach Middle School English.  I currently teach 6th and 8th grade. I grew up in Caledonia and my husband, David, is also a Caledonia native. I attended college at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for my undergraduate degree. I also have a masters in reading degree which I completed at Minnestota State University, Mankato.  

I have always had a strong passion for teaching and truly love working with middle school students.  Making personal connections with students is my favorite part of my job! 

I am excited to get to know each of my students this year and share my love of English with them. My goal is to make students feel supported in every way and to help them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers and writers.
